Spot Light on Ford Galaxy & VW Sharan

Rieger Tuning Products for the

Ford Galaxy & Volkswagen Sharan.

In our blog this time we are taking our first in depth look at some of the Rieger products. We have chosen the Galaxy and Sharan models for the first of these reports. The introduction of the 7 seater gave families the extra space they needed which they didn’t find in the family hatchback. Rieger were quick to develop products for these models showing it wasn’t only hot hatches that could be modified.

Ford Galaxy

In 2005 Rieger added the Ford Galaxy to there range, developing a full Body kit suitable for all models made after 2000 all in ABS Plastic. Pictured in the catalogue on a black Galaxy, Tinted windows, lowered and sitting on 19” rims, Rieger showed how a few mods would make this Family people carry welcome at any cruise.

Rieger’s Front apron is a direct fit and simply mounts to the bottom of the original bumper. Supplied with adhesive and fixings this part is so straight forward anybody with basic knowledge could fit this part them selves. Click below to see an Image of the Rieger Apron.

Rieger chose to go with there new Razor Side Skirts for the Galaxy. These subtle side skirts sit flush along the sill but the front and rear vents just gives them the edge to stand out. To give the extra touch Rieger also manufactured these in there Carbon Effect Finish as an option. As the carbon finish is still paintable this gives the customer the option to partially paint some of the skirt. The favourite option seems to be not painting the centre grooved section allowing the carbon finish to be seen. Click Below to see an image of the Rieger Side Skirts.

Rieger then moved to the rear and stuck with there popular 3 slot rear apron. Realising that the vehicle would need to be practical Rieger made 2 versions of the rear ensuring the factory fitted tow bar could still be used. Click Below to See an Image of the Rieger Rear Apron.
